The valve stems can be anywhere WE decide. But may I suggest we ALL agree, and preferrably keep the wheels as ACCURATE (valve on machined area) as possible?

From experience, the stems mounted in the webbing would make wheels much easier to clean/polish. For 'realness', out in the machined area. I think for what may be a continuous run, (especially if manufacturers offer these as options with their builds) the faithfulness to Halibrand makes most sense.
