I think every one here respects the police, sheriffs, deputies, state troopers, et al. Most of them
earn our respect, and if they don't, they still carry a loaded firearm that
commands our respect.

I used to drive my Harley 105MPH across a certain large southern city bar-hopping on Friday nights in the 80's just to try and keep up with my two good friends on their OWN personal HDs, who also happened to be uniformed police officers when they were on the clock. One retires with honor this year, after 30 years of admirable service, and the other retires next year after piloting the city police helicopter for the last 25 years.
My point is, no one is intentionally bashing cops here.
