Hello guys,
I have to say thank you for all the valuable information. I am in the other side of the Atlantic located in the hot / sunny Athens, Greece and today my clutch went off.
My car is A Backdfraft #755

..so today after 2 days of use (I bought it 2nd hand with around 700miles) and the clutch died. You can all imagine my face I guess! :-( At the beginning I was not able to change gears easily and then after 2-3minutes died.
I believe that the previous owner never changed the clutch hydraulics - and I am 99% sure also the brake liquids. (I will ask him tomorrow).
So I order the following 2+1 items:
1)
Wilwood Disc Brakes 260-1333 - Wilwood Slave Cylinders - Overview - SummitRacing.com
2)
Wilwood Disc Brakes 260-1304 - Wilwood Aluminum Master Cylinders - Overview - SummitRacing.com
3) I will buy from here the liquids. Hope to find good ones.
....in order to start maintaining my car by myself. I do have some past experience with engines, and brakes (especially on racing motorbikes) but I feel I can do it on cars too.
I might need some further assistance down the road (in order to prevent silly mistakes) and post some good pics of my car to make sure I understand it.
Talk soon - Andronikos,
