Interesting points from a discussion I had today-

1. Given the amount of intelligence this target would hold in his head, it would be irresponsible not to try to take him alive.

2. If we were to take him alive, the intelligence extraction, the trial, and the Muslim reaction to both would be overwhelmingly negative.

3. If we “bury him at sea” there is no way to confirm or deny death.

4. If he is still alive, and widely believed dead, the US government could take their time with him.
