I understand that it had been converted to rack and pinion early in it's life and that because of this it may be acceptable, definitely a better steering & handling vehicle. The restoration as good as it is still does not represent what the car was or it's past historical significance. Unfortunately there were very few early Cobras produced (let alone the first Cobra delivered to a customer) and far fewer today that maintain their originality. It's Bruce's Cobra, money and decision as to what he wants his Cobra to be, enough said by me.
