If memory serves me correctly, Jack Kube was the fiberglass man for Unique Motorcars when they started out in Arizona. Unique decided to move to Alabama, but they initially left a mold out in Arizona so that they could do cars from both places. Later, they picked up that mold and moved it to Alabama.
I don't know if Jack ever went to Alabama with Unique. Jack then started NAF in Arizona, which was his company. I don't recall if he splashed a Unique car or not. He did do a slabside at one time. It was on the cover of Kit Car in the fall of '84 or '85... my very first issue. My how time flies
