No, it isn't. We've been stuck with gasahol for many years, and there's no problem with it.

It's going to get worse, too. The special interests now want to increase it to 15%. Which will decrease power and mileage, increase cost, and not improve air quality one bit. But a few people are going to get richer off it, so expect it to happen soon.
