I just spent the greater part of my lunch break on hold to VicRoads so I figure I'll try the forum instead.
What are the restrictions on the 28 day permit scheme? From the link below it only mentions time of day and the obvious stuff such as no learner drivers, etc.
Further down it says I need to specify the reason for the permit. Will they accept "road testing" as a reason in addition to travelling to/from a workshop, IM240 test, etc?

Also, what is the cost for 28 days? Looking at the TAC charges in the PDF below, do I divide the annual cost by 12? Works out to $18 for me which seems a bit low.

You'd think for all the revenue raising that they could at least make it clear on the website or provide a form to download.
