Correct. Decades ago it was common to find the clock owner replaced with some other gauge. Fuel pressure gauges were common. The one situation that always made me smile was when I came across an altimeter in the clock position.

When examining any Cobra/427 Cobra/AC 289 Sports bear in mind that these are some of the most bashed and modified cars off all time by their owners. A box stock Cobra/427 Cobra/AC 289 Sports is about as common percentage wise as a virgin 1932 Ford roadster.
