You just made my day, I was afraid to ask how your recovery was going sounds like you will be 100%

Neurologist = idiot, she wante to wait 3 months, my surgeon said my hand would have been dead and should have had surgery immediately. I told him to fix my lower back, he said come back in 6 months after doing core exercises. He dont care about pain only loss of motor skills, told me I had a propensity towards surgery, i told him no sheet it works, the guy is my hero.

I like my life at the moment, I have no stress!!
Finally got tired of the doctors here and got ahold of the woman that grew up next to me and was my babysitter, her husband just happens to be one of the foremost spinal reconstruction surgeons in the country, he talked to me for ten minutes on the phone then called my nuerologist got them to give me the MRI I had been asking for, took one look at it and said,"get down here (he is 5 hours away in maryland), get down here RIGHT now."
Went down a few days later had the surgery, all the pain is now gone and I get to play golf this week for the first time this year .
He told me another month or two and I may not be walking anymore.
Just goes to prove "its not what you know, it's who you know."
I will still take any amount of engine trouble over having my neck open with my spinal chord, trachea, jugular veins and whatever else exposed to the elements......maybe that is just me.
