As far as loosing phalanges or little kid’s heads goes, if the wiring is run to Fan2 then they are slaved not only to the temp sensor but to the ignition switch as well. So if the kid (or the owner) comes up missing digits then I have to ask: wtf where they doing in there with the engine running? AS far as Cobra dangers go, the pipes are more of a threat than the fans by a huge margin.

Forgot, your chassis is so old it does not have the updated wiring that allows fans to come on when the key is off/out ....
