Hi Tinner, My new tranny is a 4L80e that is not electrically controlled. I didn't want to spend the additional big bucks it would have been to get the computer to run it electronically. Hughes Racing Transmissions, here in Phoenix, built it for me. I've been running one of their TH400 tranny for years, without any problems, and I am just a little harsh on it. The new tranny is pretty much just like the TH400 but has the 4th gear 25% OD. They built it with all the super HD goodies like the TH400 so I'm anticipating getting the same good service out of it.
