The problem is that the old fittings are too long, which caused them to hit the fins inside of the cooler. Steeda recommends o ring fittings, but i was in too big of a hurry to read that until after i had trashed the cooler. It's possible i can salvage it, i just need to have it flow tested and then, if it tests ok, i can have a new fitting tig welded to the side with the stripped threads.
