Instead of a compression test, try a leak down test. If you do have a cylinder with bad rings, it will make it more obvious. I would of course look to the cylinder with the wet plug. Can you tell if it's wet with
oil or gas?
Do you have any leaks anywhere? Does it smoke when you drive it?
