Default SPF Ride Improvement

I have the stock Bilstein shocks and springs on my SPF and was wondering if any of you guys had replaced them with anything that rides better.

By better, I mean more controlled. My car seems to take quite a hit (bounce) whenever I hit a bump in the road. There must be a better option. Something that absorbs the bump better and doesn't trasmit such a shock to the driver.

My previous car, an FFR, I replaced the non adjustable Bilsteins with adjustable Konis on all four corners and felt more connected whenever uneven terrain was encountered. I might be wrong, but if there is a way to improve the overall handling, I am open to suggestions.

Many have said the Bilsteins are the best you can get, but I thought I would ask anyways.
