I only had a little time today so I decided to measure and mark the floor for cutting. After drilling a few holes to confirm the location of the main structural members (yes, I am a chippie, it shows doesn't it

) and jacking the car up onto ramps and stands I am confident that I have a good plan of attack.
Fortunately the site forman was on hand to give me some vacant looks of encouragement

At least I was able to take some reasonable pics of the new central exhaust and give a better account of the current config. of the area that will be modified.
I hope to be able to put my new reciprocating saw to good use on Friday if this day job thing doesn't keep getting in the way.
