Default Quality shocks and Jag rear set ups

I too am interested in replacing my shocks and had considered QA1's too, though whether now or later I am unsure but firstly how do they rate against say a Koni or Bilstein equivalent as two reputable brands I have at least had past experience with?

And then following on Stuart's theme, and continued thread hi-jack (sorry) am curious to understand whether you can simply replace the twin rear shocks on a std Jag rear with one each side with uprated springs of course.

Does not the whole design geometry and hence suspension operation and performance get affected?

Keen for feedback on both topics.

Cheers

Steve
