About the first 100 cars (CSX3101-CSX3199) used 427 Low Riser with 2 x 4 carbs with Top Oiler blocks. There is some thought that a few (maybe one or two) of the 427 SC may have had them also. Thease engines did not have provisions for hyd lifters and as such had adjustable rockers. BTW unless you are going to LeMans or Daytona to go racing the TO block is just fine.
