Just a quick note. I replaced my lower hoses last week. I don't have the Gates #s handy (picked 'em up at ERA) but the 2" lower hose did fit over the 2 1/4" Edelbrock snout after a good dose of silicone lubricant had been applied to both hose & pump.

This might help you guys trying to find the proper reducer combinations.
