After reading the post carefully, it says that the company did not meet the

(federal auto safety rules requiring child-safe "advanced" airbags). I would be willing to bet the car has airbags, just not the child-safe "advanced" airbags, whatever those are.

Nevertheless, I doubt there will be any children in this car and if I had $1,000,000 to spend on this car....I would be upset. So much for government red tape.
