Mark,

Welcome to the Bay Area! SB100 is definitely the path to follow. Block type is no longer a method that you can use to register a manufactured vehicle in California.

Just walk into the DMV with your GA title and start the SB100 process. Someone else that has brought an out of State car in CA can give you the detailed steps, but I'm guessing that you're next stop may be the CHP to verify the VIN. Last stop would be the BAR to get your SB100 sticker.

You should be able to request a couple of TOPs (temporary operating permits) to get you on the road if SB100 certificates are not available. THE source for the best information and service in the Bay Area is Jody (manager) at the DMV in Santa Clara.

Good luck. See you on the road soon!
