That's why I added the comment about a lack of knowledge such as hiding wiring. I was trying to get to engineering in the original build but didn't perhaps know all the best ways of doing this to avoid having to re-do items.
I had 18 months from when I knew what engine I could use to get through engineering. Most nights were spent in the garage including through winter, though I think that was one of the mild winters, to achieve what I did. I was also on a far more limited budget back then.
I'm rebuilding now as if I had the full three years and with far more pre-thought on each issue. This means it is not just a simple refit to old holes which in part has dragged the rebuild time but at least the car is heading towards how I want it to look.
Happy once its done to try and calculate the cost but I know the end number will not be cheap.
