For nearly ten years (early 1980s to early 1990s) I use to take CSX2310 and run the open track events at Hallet during the Mid America event. For that play I wanted some type
oil cooler. I settled for a Hayden brand adapter and heat exchanger radiator. The cast aluminum adapter as installed looks similar to a SAI one and the radiator I chose was like Daytona Coupes used for the 1965 season. I really like the adapter because it has a bi-metal thermostatic control spring in it. The circuit through the radiator is not full flow until the
oil gets to around 160°F. Makes warm up quicker and I don't have to disconnect or block the cooler during cold weather like I did on my Boss Mustangs in the 1970s.
