I bought the Koolmat recently. They work better than I expected. After running stationary for 5 minutes, you can reach down and they are actually cool to the touch back where the driver's door (your leg) is. Closer to the header they are warmer, but still able to put your hand on them with only a slightly warm feel.

They are spendy, but Pat was excellent to work with, and the product does exceed my expectations. Not a common thing these days when many products tend to fall short.
