I've managed to acquire two of these over the years (1970 Mach 1 and 1968 Mustang fastback GT) by outwardly admiring the car, showing pictures of past work, and most importantly including a statement in the bill of sale that says they have right of first refusal show I ever decide to sell it. Didn't work a few times, but when it did, it seemed to be the deciding factor. Good luck!
