I just saw this. After I went through the throttle body alignment on my Roush 427IR my throttle cable was too short. I searched everywhere for the cable with the ball on the end. Auto dealers had some from Nissans and others but all were too stiff, or too short, or had way too much wrapped around them. Eventually I went to a motorcycle shop. He sent me to a Go Kart place about 10 miles away. he had hundreds of them in various configurations - some with the ball already attached, others that you added it to, etc. He found a cable (without the ball) that matched my cable for flex and sold me a little brass ball (actually, a cylinder) for $.25. I went home, soldered the ball to the stop with my trusty soldering iron from the 70s, cut the cable and dressed it. It cost me more in gas to go get it than it did for the cable and ball - I think a total of something under $5.00.
