Not Ranked
For many people who plan on attending a track event iit is natural to wait until you can get a grasp of the projected weather before sending in your money. The problem with that is that for most of the ones planning an event, they have limited resources. Event planning takes a lot of planning and a leap of faith from the promoter to secur the trophy's, t-shirts, etc. All these costs are paid up front with an aticipated turn out. I have been guilty of this in the past but being the Director of Run N Gun for the past 7 years I know the stress involved in putting on such an event.
If you enjoy these types events do your event director a huge favor and get your money in early. At virtually every track I have gone to there has always been at least one day inwhich the weather was less than perfect but the comradery of the people was worth my time at the track, wheather we drove around drying the track or just huddled in groups telling stories and swapping white lies. Track days are some of the best times I have ever had and I look forward to the next Run N Gun or track day somewhere.
