SO glad this is going to work out for those of you in WA state!

Now, if we could just get somebody interested in authoring a bill in the KS legislature to adopt the SEMA plan, that would make me even more happy! Right now replicas newly constructed in KS have to be registered as the year in which they were constructed and meet the safety/pollution requirements thereof.

TX hasn't cracked down on replica owners.....yet. Word on the street is that it is coming. When they do, I can take my Cobra to KS and register it under the present title as a 66 Ford 2T, according to the sheriff in my home county, and then an "antique" license plate will cost me $17 ONE TIME ONLY....no yearly fees after that as I understand it.

We'll see. It is registered in TX until 10/2013 (we can buy our registrations for up to 3 years now....that was a big surprise to me, too).
