I would advise against the use of a cast iron flywheel in any application.

For a street car, I like the heavier weight flywheels as you'll find yourself slipping the clutch more with a light flywheel. I personally would use something like a 24-25 RAM steel flywheel with a RAM HDX series clutch kit.

If you have to have a lighter flywheel, then one of RAM's 18 lb aluminum flywheels combined with the HDX clutch kit would be a nice tight package.

The HDX is rated for 450hp, but has no "exotic" clutch disc materials. Great products, very affordable.
