I have checked all badges online to compare the fake repo ones and these all look original, they are not fake, it does have the cobra snake in front of grill and again nothing online like this one. I tried to find a 289 Ford F I A side sticker online like this one and again no luck. I have seen 2 fiberglass bodys that look like this but mine is much different, oh well it's still cool, maybe one day I will do some more research on it. I only found one statement that said "I remember back in the 60's and have wondered what ever happen to those Small Cobra Go karts that Shelby made up and everyone was riding around on them", other then that I have found no information on them. I was hoping someone in here could help out, I thought the same as you when I bought it. I Like to gamble so some time you win some times you don't. I guess will see, the story did sound rather unlikely but I said the same as you did what the heck. Again if anyone in here knows anything about this Go kart, please let me know. Thanks!
