I put a tubular fuel sender in mine and unfortunately the guage readings are still not as stable as I had hoped, also in my car with the sender just above the bottom of the tank it still took 20lts to register on the guage (85ltr tank) then was not linear from there. A friend recessed his into the bottom of the tank to overcome the high zero fuel level.
I am thinking of removing the tube sender and covering the inlet holes and only leaving a tiny opening so that the fuel cant move too quickly in and out of the sender.
