Hi Dan, OK, so before I cancel my flight plans to return to Phoenix on the night of the 15th, let's take this notion out for a spin.

The logistics are such that the caravan participants would need to travel on the 14th to California, stay one night in Irvine nearby Hillbank Motors, pick up the car on the 15th and long haul it back to Phoenix. My wife and I would travel in Ralphies SUV. I have no objections in spending the US$700 to offset any gasoline expenses incurred in route.

Given this is the case how many of the mighty fine upstandin' gents from the Arizona Cobra Club would sign up for this super caravan to aid a fellow member in need and being the case if we had many people participate, this super caravan could become the stuff of Cobra Club legend. It would certainly provide high drama to this overall event and would be a fitting conclusion to the 78 miles saga.

Depending how many people volunteered to make this journey I believe Lance Stander of Hillbank Motors would be more than pleased to welcome such a gathering and it certainly would be news worthy.

So let roll it out and see who will walk the walk and talk the talk.

Cheers, John, AKA, tin-man
