Rumors , bad scare tactics . and half truth are a problem and worst for GM from the" Hate America First"" Hate Unions " groups . I would like to know how a number of imports have dangers cars on the road and have no news media to pick up on it and know recalls for years . We have seen this for years . Double Standard ? Let me clarify my post: electric and hybrid/electric cars are not the answer.Spoke with one person that bought a hybrid electric Honda a few years ago and she was thrilled she was getting 35 mpg, then I told her I get 36 to 40 mpg daily with my gasoline car, kinda burst her bubble....
It's also a proven fact that building and maintaining an electric car harms the enviroment more than building and maintianing and driving a Hummer!!!!!
And we didn't even talk about price comparisons!!!!!!!!!!
So the 40 grand/35mpg Volt is a better deal than a 15 grand 40 mpg gas powered car of the same size?????????
