For those of you that don't care, keep doing what you're doing. But, with the Arabs becoming more and more hostile, oil dependency will be the nail in our coffin.
Once again, hats off to GM for taking the first step to provide an alternative. Granted it's not perfect, new technology never is. But each generation will be better than the last.
So, while the middle east continues to show instability, I, for one, am glad some car companys are developing alternative technology because he who controls the oil, controls the world. And I'm not comfortable with all those nut jobs in the middle east that keep blowing themselves up. Eventually, they will unite and stick it to all of us.
It's not about mileage, never has been. It's about having alternatives in case the worst happens.
