Default Looking for the definite answer on valve covers and roller rockers

My SPO came with a Roush 402R built from the Dart / 351W block. After hours of searching this forum and others, I am still in the dark about which aftermarket valve covers will fit without spacers.

The "tall" covers from Cobranda apparently don't fit (per my telephone call), even though the website says yes. Other posts seem to suggest that Ford's new line of valve covers will fit, even though their descriptions say that "some modification may be necessary to clear roller rockers."

Specifically, I would like to match my traditional black oval air cleaner with the finned black covers that say COBRA on them, but I'd hate to eat $150 - $200 getting the wrong ones (or having to buy them, then get spacers after all).

Any leads?

Thanks in advance,

Mike
