Also find a DMV where the clerks know what they are doing. Sacramento and the Bay area have a couple that are really good to work with. Remember the DMV is a Govt. operated business and most of the clerks aren't trained in this and some of them never even heard of it. The web site will give you the papers that You need to have filled out and ready. They mainly want the big ticket items such as motors, transmissions, and etc and the price that you paid for them and the kit so they have something to base the value of the car on. Get a good clerk who knows her stuff and it isn't that hard, but get one like we have up here who hates cars of any kind and it is impossible.
