Mark, that's a good plan! I have heard some less than complimentary comments regarding the internals on my Mallory Hi-Fire ignition system, but it has never let me down. I asked the previous owners (I have contact info for two previous owners) and they both say they have never had any trouble with the module, but as they say...."there's always a first time". I've been putting it off for some reason, but it's time to source a spare module to carry in the toolbox in the trunk.

Sorry for the thread drift...I know this is about the Holley fuel pumps, but Mark's comment regarding spare ignition parts is SO right on!
