Hello Bill

Yes, the Glaspac models had the entire suspension, steering and brake system from the Brazilian Chevrolet Opala, which had the body looking from the Opel (GM of Europe / Germany) Rekord, but with some of the engine from the NA Impala (the l6 250c.i.). That is the reason for the name Opala (Opel + Impala)!!

The brakes were made by the Brazilian Brake Company Varga, here in Brazil. But on the beginning of the year 2000, this company was purchased by TRW, and now the Varga's parts have TRW part numbers:
- Front Brake Pads: RCPT00251
- Partial Caliper Piston Front, for Repair: RRFD00044
- Partial Caliper Piston Seal Front for Repair: RRFD54020

Unfortunately, I can not find any caliper of the Opala on the TRW Cataloges. It appears that TRW is not seeling these calipers anymore here, since the Opala is out of production since 1992. I would suggest you to try the Piston and Sealing Repair Kit.

Also, the Opala had some Ate (Continental Teves) Braking system on the smaler engine versions (l4 151 c.i.). Check the Calipers for the Varga brand. If it appears, you can go search with the TRW part numbers! If it appears the Ate brand, send me a not here and I will try to find it. If nothing appears, just go for the TRW, as it makes more sense.

I hope it helps!

Best Regards
