....I had the same problem with SPO2089. My car has a float system. The float and sending unit is easy to access in the trunk, pull up the rug and you'll see where it can be removed. Once the sending unit is removed, just a matter of, by trial, bending the steel rod that supports the float until it reads correctly. Being 'out of gas adverse', I also watch the odometer.
There are other threads on this forum which deal with the same subject. If this simple fix doesnt work, then you might look into other causes, or assuming you bought it there, call Hillbank in Irvine, might still be under warranty..
