Default Voltage regulator question from the UK

OK, so from sniffing round the web I think the correct voltage regulator is a Black & White Autolite unit? Please tell me if Im wrong - its a for an S/C replica of a 65 car.

I dont actually need it, but want to add one for authenticity (because im a saddo ). So, I found the only UK supplier (Real Steel,) and what they sent me was an OEM unit that is plated steel. So no good. I have been round and round ebay and various mustang parts centers in the US. Seems that a functional re-manufactured unit is about $40, but then they want >$30 for mailing it to the UK, which Im reluctant to pay, as the OEM unit was about $15. Seeing as I dont actually need a working one, anyone got any suggestions for a cheaper solution that looks correct? I found aplace that will send me an almost correct Autolite sticker, but still need a black regulator.
