I am using the swift column that I have stripped off all the controls and the shroud.
I have unscrewed the lock mechanism and flipped it 180deg. The idea is the swift key that will be hidden behind the dash will be a master switch for power and the steering lock. The start button and the Ignition key on the dash will be functional but secondary to the Suzuki master.
The immobilizer control will be attached to the Suzuki key.
I will replace the Suzuki swich gear with a MINI unit that has turn signals, high beam switch and high beam flash.
I am sure this satisfies the ADR requirements, but will have to discuss with engineer. I am hoping this is ok as one of the things I dislike about cobra replicas is the steering column that clearly looks out of place.
The steering wheel and Boss are new products from SAAS, Adr compliant for pre airbag vehicles.
