Default ### New Springs

Hi folks

i am thinking of changing my coil springs. I am using the 'factory' setup that comes with the kit from A&C (not yet sure what the shock and coil rate is - does anyone know?)

My cobra only has about 2.5-3 inches of clearance. lowest point being the transmission bellhousing lip (quicktime). then the oil pan is the lowest point after. i will probably change the oil pan to a "normal" pan rather than the extra capacity moroso i have on there now.

i really dont want to cut the bottom lip of the bell housing, but maybe i will do that.

at any rate, i'd like to get overall 4-4.5 inches of clearance. so i want to swap the springs to some kind of a taller, progressive rate spring, so I can get a little bounce at the top, but then have the spring tighten right up so the car doesnt bounce 4 inches down to the ground.

has anyone swapped their springs and or shocks? any recommendations?
