That's only if you want it to actually do something when you flip the car.
A lot of the cars have "cosmetic" roll bars... and I'm thinking of the Contemporary I almost bought a zillion years ago. If you want it to support the car while you're sliding upside down, then you're going to have to take it to the frame, or equally strong supports.
