You might want to re-check that ....
I'm pretty sure that the "Wall Height" on the Sumitomos will work out to be 110.25 mm , and the GS-D3 Goodyears to be 114 mm....
That's only a "flea's doodle" difference !
Aren't the "Middle numbers" ......e.g. 315/
35/17...and 285/
40/17... on all of the tyres sizes a "percentage" of the width ?
i.e. 315 X 35% = 110.25mm
285 X 40% = 114.00mm
Difference in "Wall Height" = 3.75mm ( 15/100ths of an inch )
Have I got this wrong ??
