Are you still running round eith rego height suspension? Dropping it a couple of inches front and bsck will make the tyres fill the guards much better. Probably make it handle better too. Mine was pretty horrible with the suspension wound up both in looks and ride.

Just make sure your tyres clear the edges of the guards. From my memory of your build pics your wheel offsets put the tyres out near the lip. You wouldnt want one to rub and stuff up your nice paint. Thats one of the reasons i didnt paint mine before driving it. Ive found a few spots where the tyres rub and fixed them now.
