Like Craig W, I looked how I could lower the car and get the tyres to fill the guards without scraping everything.
I replaced the twin 2.5" exhaust with quad 1.75" pipes. Picked up .75" there, replaced the 275/40/17 with 285/40/17 rears and 245/45/17 with 255/50/17 fronts. Unless you are looking you don't really notice the different tyre profile between the front and rear.
Overall I lowered the car another .5" on the rear and about 1" on the front. After adjusting the ride height to a level that the sump doesn't get scrapped over every speed bump the tyres now fill the guards nicely with only about 18mm gap to the rear guardsand 28mm gap on the front.
