Today, I wen to drop my 302 engine in, using the engine mounts provided by B&B, and the frame mounts that they welded to the frame for me. Even with some "more than gentle" pursuasion, I am not able to get the second bolt in after putting the first bbolt in. I have tried the right side first and also the left side first. Either way, it will not line up. It seems to me with the quality of these things, this should just drop right in. Am I missing something here? Has anyone else run into this? Anther issue that I am running into is that it seems as though my steering colum is not going to clear the foot box. I am really starting to panic.
