... and Jerry knows I changed my routing on the driver's VC just to make him happy. But to answer the OP's question, I like the #1 plug at around 11:00 o'clock if you're standing in front of the car staring at the front of the engine. That's not the way it came from the factory, but it works well and helps to separate 7 and 8. Here's a pic:
