I have just been talking with a Cobra owner in Geelong and he was also just going to take the family car down.
I do know it is double admission price to show your car, but I don't think that would have prohibited any one from going.
Perhaps as I heard today, the need to book a spot is a contributing reason for many of us not going.
Big events such as the Picnic at Hanging Rock etc do not require prepayment and booking. I can understand that a Social Organiser within a car club would find it hard to get numbers participating, collect payment and book a site well prior to the event.
It is always hard to get busy people to pre book well out from an event.
The best cars at this All Ford Day will no doubt be out in the public carpark, as in previous years!!
Anyway the weather looks good and I will head down in Anne's classic shopping car..
