Smile Road trip to see the Allen Grant raffle car

Eight members of the North Alabama Cobra Club took a rode trip today to see the Allen Grant Cobra replica at Unique Motorcars in Gadsden, Alabama.

It's beautiful! It's perfect! And it almost ready. Waiting on the shocks. I understand OCC will pick it up soon so they can show it at cars show and sell tickets.
This car will be a ticket seller!!!!

The Weavers spend a lot of time with us and ate lunch with us.

The car, well I am going to buy more tickets! I love the color and the graphic. I guess I can thank George Lucas for that but Unique did a fabulous job on the paint. Perfect.

When I asked Alan Weaver what the color code was he told us they called Allen Grant who had a can of the old paint. They contacted , old age kicking in here but, I think he said PPG who gave them the paint code. So it's the same that Allen used on his replica Cobra.

Every detail was perfect. They did install a interior because the new owner, "Me I hope" will drive it on the street.

This has to be one of the best Cobra we have raffled at the London Cobra Show.

I would like to thank the Ohio Cobra Club, the Weavers at Unique, Patriot Performance for the 347 stroker motor and Wayne Presley for the induction system. Big Thanks to all.

The motor is a work of art! 468 hp, Weber type fuel injection. The best of both worlds, looks and performance.

Buy tickets but pray for me to win! I never win but have fun thinking about it.

Man would I look good in that Cobra
